In essence, therapy zeroes in on mental wealth including emotional healing. Therapists maintain a license in the medical field and are regulated by the medical board. Life coaching is not synonymous to therapy as it is concerned with helping individuals identify and achieve their goals, shares Marc Accetta. The two carry different objectives, making them independent and uninterchangeable. Now that their objectives have been laid out, it is easy to recognize that the two can coexist.

If one is in need of emotional healing, therapy is recommended. For circumstances where one feels stuck, life coaching is the answer. There can be a time in a person’s life that they would need the two together. Going to therapy while receiving life coaching is possible, especially when it is clear to one that the two have separate tasks.

Without healing, it would be difficult to move forward. According to life coach Marc Accetta, coaching touch on a few psychological matters when they help a person alter their thinking, improve their wellbeing, and remodel their belief systems. Therapists are concerned with healing past trauma, treating clinical anxiety and depression, and coping with loss. Life coaches enlist the expertise of therapists when they notice their clients having higher levels of manifestations of anxiety and depression.
