He’s no ordinary mentor, so to speak, having been blessed with the ability to educate and entertain his audience in many ways.

Using his skills in “edutainment,” Marc is able to entertain even the most knowledgeable members of the crowd and educate the greenhorns at the same time, without sending the former to boredom or the latter to confusion. He uses stage spectacle to invite attention and intelligent analogies to produce insights, helping people from all walks of life develop self-discipline, hone their capabilities, and succeed in their career.

From Marc Accetta

As a trusted educator with abilities that transcend many borders, Marc Accetta has successfully made a name for himself. Especially in the coaching industry where lectures are often stiff and quite overwhelming, Marc rises above any other mentor because he is able to raise the bar in the art of mentorship. He turns ordinary talks into extraordinary dialogues and makes theatrical shows a form of philosophy.

Marc’s definitive goal is to enliven people’s condition as he possibly could to help them become better individuals. He has already spoken in front of thousands of audiences and has lectured on a wide range of subjects which helped his audiences become more esteemed and well-regarded.

From Marc Accetta

For more information about Marc Accetta , visit www.marcaccetta.com.

Looking beyond black and white: Marc Accetta on living one’s life in full colors

People choose to categorize others with prejudice because it’s convenient for them. Marc Accetta however, does not share this notion. The successful public speaker and life coach believes that there is more to life than just categories. There are gray areas, for example, where people need to wander to at times when they feel doubtful. Forgetting to see life’s full display of colors is like failing to witness the beauty of a rainbow after an unsettling storm. The adversities are experienced but the sweetness offered afterwards is never tasted. But how can people really live life in full colors?

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta’s instructional program called Living in Full Colors was rooted in this very idea. Living in Full Colors suggests that people can be classified in different colors - blue, red, yellow, and green - and each one of them represents a different sense of lifestyle. With the use of the instructional program, people will learn how they function in society and how they can improve in order to harmoniously coexist with others. The program was carefully crafted by Accetta to enlighten those who are looking at life in a dull light.

From Marc Accetta

More information about Marc’s Living in Full Colors can be found at <a href=="http://www.marcaccetta.com">www.marcaccetta.com.

The Power of Mentorship: Marc Accetta on his stint in the successful personal development film

From Marc Accetta

Creating an indelible mark in the art of life coaching and mentorship, Marc Accetta has joined the powerhouse cast of the film The Power of Mentorship. The film is the story of a young man who tried to rise above the seemingly endless cycle of poverty and depression. With the aid of a mentor who motivated him to pursue a productive and meaningful existence, the man was able to change his life forever.

The Power of Mentorship is a soulful urban drama that helps people manage their own doubts and faith, weaknesses and strengths, and fears and aspirations. Inspired by a true story, the film challenges the acting prowess of veteran publisher Don Boyer and actor Ismael Perez.

Marc Accetta is much honored to be featured as one of the 27 highly respected mentors to share their success stories on the film and inspire hundreds or even thousands of people who will watch the motion picture. It also features several teachers from the critically acclaimed personal development film, The Secret, including Bob Proctor, Marie Diamond, and Dr. John DiMartini.

From Marc Accetta

The Power of Mentorship’s dramatic story line infused with lessons from a variety of mentors may serve as a guiding star for people aiming to reach their much-sought personal and professional triumph. Up to now, Marc continues to change lives through this perspective.

Edutainment—this is the tool that Marc uses in order to share his profound thoughts to his listeners. He speaks with humor and wit to easily connect with the people he talks to. By using entertainment to educate, he can convey his message in a manner that captivates his listeners. He keeps the audience engaged through light conversation—a strong testament to how he views life at a different perspective as he discusses heavy life matters in a very light pace.

From Marc Accetta 2

Marc Accetta himself also felt absolutely undetermined at one point of his life. Back in 1982, right after he graduated college with a degree in Political Science, he was not decided as to which path his life would steer to. Following his heart and guts, he tried and ventured in the world of sales. With a mix of perseverance and determination, Marc started to reap success. He began teaching others what he learned from his experiences from the world of sales and from life in general as well.

From Marc Accetta

More information about Marc Accetta can be read at www.marcaccetta.com.

Follow Marc Accetta on Twitter for more of his thoughts.

Marc Accetta: Experience propels personal progress

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta is famous for his unique approach in motivating people to excel in their crafts. He employs wit and humor in his trainings and couples them with exquisite stage artistry. However, he was not born possessing this unique gift in communicating with others. He was shy and insecure back when he was a child. But as he matured, he became the person he is today - confident, strong-willed, and successful.

Born and raised in Newton, New Jersey, Marc never thought that one day his job would include standing in front of a large crowd talking about personal development. But his gains from his professional experiences propelled him to do so despite having low esteem when he was younger.

Educated with a degree in Political Science from the Seton Hall University, Marc Accetta never dreamed that he will end up in the sales and marketing industry. His interest though in the field helped him achieve the career development he never expected will cross his way. He learned a lot of things, from direct selling to almost every sales-related business he was involved with. He also successfully penetrated the recruitment and management industries and gained a lot of recognitions for his accomplishments.

From Marc Accetta

Upon success, he ventured into teaching and training. He became a motivational coach to a lot of business enthusiasts who also want to attain the degree of success he has achieved, though not necessarily in the same field. He became a mentor for various professionals and used “edutainment” as his principal tool for teaching. Marc Accetta’s method, by means of performance skits, has been proven effective and has won the trust of his clients. Currently, he is the director of training for the Internet-based travel company, WorldVentures.

Marc is happily married to supportive wife Kelly, who is active in socio-civic activities. He and Kelly also became members of the famous Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, a non-profit organization that seeks to enhance the potential of the youth.

From Marc Accetta

For more information about Marc Accetta’s seminars, call 972-381-8675 or visit MarcAccetta.com. i/>

One against Three: Marc Accetta on the Power of One in Dirk Nowitzki

Motivational speaker Marc Accetta talks about Dallas Mavericks Center Dirk Nowitzki in the 41st episode of the Power of One Show. The same year, he was traded to Dallas where he has played the rest of his career. During his years in the NBA, he has been included in the All-star team 10 times.

But despite Nowitzki’s achievements, fans and pundits had always talked about the one thing missing in his illustrious career and whether he can manage to get it: an NBA championship. Marc Accetta reflects on how Nowitzki managed to get through all obstacles and achieve one of the most sought-after accomplishments every NBA superstar dreams of. “It’s amazing how many of the ‘experts’ were saying he’s soft, not a true leader, and does not have a winning spirit,” says Marc.

From Jul 6, 2011

In the lead to their champion match against the Miami Heat, the multitude of NBA fans and pundits are not expecting the Dallas Mavericks to reach up to that certain point, so much more to beat the team with the “Big Three” in their lineup. Nowitzki proved them wrong, carrying the Mavericks to a 4-2 lead against the Heat en route to winning the franchise’s first NBA championship.

From Jul 6, 2011

“Don’t feel because you’re on your own you can’t win. It is a very important event in the country, one that could be traced back to 1865 when the first Star Spangled Banner was unfurled to show appreciation for the Martyrs of the Race Course.

Memorial Day: A History

Freedman founded the event on May 1, 1865 when freed African American slaves decorated the graves of fallen heroes from the civil war with American flags in Charleston, South Carolina. It was then called as “Decoration Day” for obvious reasons. Yet as the years passed and more and more conflicts called for American men to bear arms, the affair took an all-encompassing meaning, giving Americans the chance to salute the fallen who gave the country its freedom.

From Marc Accetta

Marc Acceta says, “Freedom is not free. Someone has to pay for that.” Indeed, many servicemen and servicewomen from the Armed Forces of the United Sates: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and the Air Force, have laid down their lives so that civilians can enjoy the very blanket of freedom they provide. Marc emphasizes how these soldiers gave up their lives for something bigger than themselves: the freedom of their country, and the security it would bring to their fellowmen.

In celebration of Memorial Day, Accetta released a podcast that applauds the efforts of the soldiers who lost their lives in service to the country. He ends the podcast with, “A group of individuals who believe in one common goal can do remarkable things. As a matter of fact, they could set the world free.”

More about Marc Accetta is available at marcaccetta.com.

From Marc Accetta

Why Marc Accetta's "Edutainment" Is Effective

Marc Accetta is not just a motivational speaker, he is also an entertainer – he fuses both characteristics through his unique way of conducting live seminars, which has become known among his followers as “edutainment.” Through this technique, he is able to effectively engage his audience, enabling him to get his message across in a manner not easily forgotten. Most of the people who have attended his seminars often comment that he radiates sincerity and is able to establish a connection with every single member of the audience – an impressive feat, especially since most of his seminars are attended by thousands of people.

From Marc Accetta 2

Marc Accetta</a has mastered a technique that is very much original and highly effective, which aims to educate AND entertain his audience at the same time. In his live seminar “View from the Edge,” he> portrays characters from different walks of life with the goal of making his audience understand that there are many different ways to achieve personal success, regardless of age, occupation, or social stature. A far cry from the conventional way of conducting seminars wherein the speaker simply speaks in front of his audience, droning on and on about his message, this technique is proven effective as he enables his audience to remember the lessons by providing them with audio-visual markers. Through edutainment, Marc is able to capture his audience’s interest, entertain them (he goes all out with his costumes, props, lighting and stage design, adding to the allure of his technique), and deliver valuable life lessons to remember.

From Marc Accetta 2

Get inspired and entertained by Marc Accetta today. He found it odd that he had difficulty finding one, finally spotting only several of these located near the Parliament. Now that almost everyone in the world uses mobile phones, who needs pay phones? Because of change, the pay phone that used to be a staple in cities is now replaced by pocket-sized mobile phones. Who knows that in the future, these little phones that we carry today will become obsolete and be replaced by a more high-tech gadget.

From Marc Accetta

This was pondered upon by Marc Accetta during his search for the phone booth. He came to think about change and how many people try to resist it. As a well-known speaker and life coach, Marc supports the fact that change is the only thing constant in this world and believes that not having the willingness to adapt to change is a fundamental problem. To be able to get ahead of everybody else and succeed, one has to understand that change is a natural part of life.

From Marc Accetta

For those having difficulty accepting change, Marc encourages reading the book “Who Moved my Cheese? An Amazing way to Deal with Change in your Work and in your Life” written by Spencer Johnson. It is a great read not only for adults but also for children since the book is written in the style of a parable, following the journey of two mice and two “little people” in search of cheese.

From Marc Accetta

Know more about Marc Accetta and his take on change at www.marcaccetta.com.

Marc Accetta Pays It Forward with His Unstoppable Foundation

From Marc Accetta

Living up to the motto “We Create Champions,” Marc Accetta, founder of Marc Accetta Seminars and Director of Training for WorldVentures, gives back and pays it forward to the American youth through the Unstoppable Foundation.

Having lived a blessed and successful life, Marc was encouraged by his wife Kelly to participate and contribute to the cause of the Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS) foundation, the oldest and largest mentoring organization in the country. Hsieh confessed to Accetta that he was concerned when Amazon showed interest in acquiring Zappos. Besides the company’s sentimental value, Zappos was built through hard work and key values that have been fundamental to the company’s success. These key values are known as The 10 Core Components of Zappos Culture - the guiding force behind every Zappos employee and the basis of every decision made by the company.

From Marc Accetta

The Zappos’ culture emphasizes on one core element: The People. Marc Accetta observes that the culture is built on the company’s high regard for every single member of the Zappos workforce – from executive management down to each and every employee.

Chip Conley’s book “Peak,” is one of Hsieh’s greatest influences. The book was inspired by Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs, which Hsieh had narrowed down to three parts: a job, a career, and a calling. The three parts have served as Hsieh’s guide in focusing on the talents his employees possess and keeping them true to their calling.

After Amazon acquired the company in 2009, Tony continued running Zappos as CEO, making sure that the 10 Core Components are upheld and that the people never lose sight of their calling.

More about the Zappos phenomenon can be found at www.marcaccetta.com .

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta Shares His Blessings By Playing Big Brother

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta has been blessed in life, with a successful career as a globally acclaimed motivational speaker, and a loving, supportive family. As a way of giving back and sharing his life’s blessings to those who need it, he and his wife Kelly are involved in the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps children reach their full potential through one-to-one relationships with mentors that aim to have a positive impact on youth.

Marc’s “little brother” is William Timmerman, one of the five children in the Timmerman household. In 2001, William lost his father – his heart suddenly stopped. Mr. Timmerman was revived, but died eleven days later due to an irreparable damage to his heart caused by a recent bout with the flu virus. Marc Accetta, together with this family, helped him get over his grief and get his life back on track.

From Marc Accetta

Before the Accetta family came along and shortly after his father’s death, William and his siblings felt neglected because their mother had to work long hours to make both ends meet. William started suffering from anxiety attacks, and became withdrawn and quiet. He even had an imaginary friend named Fred. Thankfully, with the organization’s help, Marc’s positive influence, and the love and support from the Accetta family, William grew with confidence and self-assurance.

Details on Marc Accetta’s involvement in the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation can found at www.marcaccetta.com.

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta's Innovative Take on Seminars

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta sets himself apart from other motivational speakers with his interesting – and effective – method of conducting seminars. He specializes in “edutainment” which means educating while
entertaining his audience. Through this unique approach, he is able to get his message across without being boring. He does not resort to preaching clichéd passages that have been used by other speakers, or using mantras that do nothing for the listener. His sincerity in helping other people, and his passion for excellence, are clearly evident in the way he conducts his seminars. He infuses lessons with fun to keep his audience engaged, and, judging by the number of people he has helped, his approach is indeed working very well.

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta portrays characters from different walks of life (football player, judge, famous tennis player Roger Federer, among others) to illustrate the different ways an individual can achieve personal success in his signature live seminar, “View from the Edge”. Through these short plays, he cites the importance of perspective translated into action. He imparts to the audience the lessons he learned throughout his career, as well as the success stories of his students. He has the remarkable ability to touch everyone in his audience with his message, from the most experienced member, to the novice. He does not charge thousands of listeners for fees to shows making speeches that are no different from what other self help mentors come out with every year. He does not release self actualization books touting paradigms other success coaches have coined long before, or sling out catch phrases used countless times already by other inspirational gurus.

Most other inspirational speakers prefer to coast along the highway of life coaching without touching the life of even one listener, instead filling their audience’s heads with the kind of useless data found in fortune cookies. Good thing Marc Accetta isn’t that kind of guy. In fact, he is the most passionate, most committed, most inspiring success coach out there today. Next to Marc Accetta, scam mongering life coaches are exposed for the phony mantras they preach. With his unique brand of “edutainment,” a technique that infuses lessons with fun to keep audiences engaged, Marc Accetta has opened people’s minds toward personal achievement and changed thousands of lives for the better.

In his signature live seminar “View from the Edge” Marc Accetta plays characters from all walks of life (a football player, a judge, even tennis player Roger Federer) to illustrate the many different approaches to personal success. The other 93% is found in non-verbal cues such as tone of voice, eye contact and its lack thereof, hand gestures, shift in stature, and facial expressions, among others. If one experiences communication problems, this might be a result of unconsciously offending others through these non-verbal cues. Accetta said in one of the videos posted in his website that how one interacts with those around him is the key to his happiness, productivity, and income. In Living in Full Color, Marc teaches people how to master the art of communication in order to achieve goals and make the most out of their interactions.

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta trains people to realize their maximum potential by giving steps on how to enhance their personality traits in Living in Full Color. Released each week and available over iTunes, the podcast series will focus on the innate strengths of an individual, a dream, or an ambition, serving to inspire audiences.

The Power of One will feature not only Marc’s life-changing lectures but also a series of guests—fellow entrepreneurs, individuals and other life coaches—who will be promoting the power of the individual and the imagination. Featuring people like Rosa Parks, Manny Pacquiao, Jack Roosevelt, Ted Danson, and many more, all of whom have made a difference not only in their lives but in the lives of many people.

As a highly-compelling speaker, Marc Accetta proves that not only is his own life story inspirational, but that he and other influential people are coming together to help others change their lives the same way. They will be sharing their stories to the world through the podcasts.

Marc says that he once needed to just be inspired, and still does to this day. Much of the inspirational stories that he hears are of average people who had the courage to make their dreams come true, and that at some point they had become depressed, feeling like failures. Marc believes that some of the people watching the podcasts today will also someday become those who make great leaps in the future.

For more of Marc Accetta's inspirational talks and videos, visit www.marcaccetta.com

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta Transcends Professional Pursuit in Empowering People

From Marc Accetta

One of the leading success coaches of his time, Marc Accetta has established a healthy career in the field of Personal Success Coaching and Motivational Speaking. Through MarcAccettaSeminars, he has attracted thousands of people from all over the US and some parts of the world to experience his signature brand of Edutainment--the art of education through entertaining media. Many have attested to his genius and charisma and more have publicly confirmed being both edified and inspired by his wisdom and principles. As Director of National Training for travel marketing company WorldVentures, Marc takes thousands of sales professionals under his wing as he helps them achieve financial freedom and professional success. Nevertheless, Marc’s power to inspire and educate transcends his profession as he uses his knowledge, wisdom, and experience in giving back and helping those in need.

Marc Accetta, together with his wife Kelly, has founded the Unstoppable Foundation, with the intention of helping middle-school aged children learn valuable principles that can help them face the challenges of life. He found the inspiration in this while pondering how many people--businessmen and professionals in their adulthood--have come to him seeking mentoring and guidance to turn their lives around and find ways to achieve lost dreams. He figured that if he can teach children how to manage their lives and overcome challenges even before they face them, then he can truly help others beyond his professional endeavors.

An online resource on Marc, his seminars, and the Unstoppable Foundation may be found at www.marcaccetta.com.

From Marc Accetta

From Marc Accetta

Marc Accetta Helps Kids Prepare for Life through the Unstoppable Foundation

From Marc Accetta

Master Motivator Marc Accetta and his equally inspiring wife, Kelly, have known what it means to succeed. Marc, specifically, is renowned as one of the most exciting, informative, and compelling success coaches around. Thousands from all over the world flock his seminars to see his signature brand of Edutainment and learn to develop confidence and a positive attitude. He is also the National Training Director for WorldVentures, one of the fastest growing travel marketing companies in the world. And yet, with all these success, Marc feels he still has one ultimate mission to fulfill: to teach kids how to prepare for life's battles and succeed.

Marc Accetta, together with Kelly, founded the Unstoppable Foundation with the mission of teaching middle school-aged kids life lessons that aren't usually taught in a regular classroom, which is more focused on academics. Their involvement with the Big Brother, Big Sister Foundation was a big factor in the inception of the Unstoppable idea.

Also part of the development of the idea for the Foundation was Marc's realization that when people come in to his seminars, they're already in their 20s, 30s, 40s, or higher, and have already experienced much frustration and negativity in life. He figured that if he can help make professionals and businessmen turn their life around for the better, why not teach kids to prepare themselves to face life's challenges before they even face them, therefore helping them avoid setbacks and disappointments.

From Marc Accetta

Some of the lessons Marc teaches in the foundation are based on seemingly "grown up" principles. Early on, Marc encourages kids to manage their finances properly. He teaches them to avoid debt and how to spend money wisely. He tells them that it's not how much one makes, but how he spends them that makes the difference. Fundamental social principles such as character building, common courtesy, honesty, and integrity are also a major focus of the seminars.

An online resource on Marc Accetta and the Unstoppable Foundation are available at www.MarcAccetta.com.

From Marc Accetta

Improve Your Sales Skills with Marc Accetta

When Marc Accetta enters the room, he commands attention. My wife Kelly and I are the co-chairs for the Collin County Board of BBBS. As I conducted my annual A View From The Edge training in Dallas for WorldVentures, the company auctioned off several items to raise money for BBBS. Top WorldVentures income earner, Dave Watson, acted as the auctioneer and local CEO for BBBS, Charles Pierson provided several auction items.

The items included a dinner for 12 with NFL great Dion Sanders and courtside tickets to a Dallas Mavericks game. The crowd not only bit furiously on those items, but they also started offering items of their own to the auction. The items they offered included 50 Yard line seats to Brett Favre for a Vikings game, and some autographed memorabilia, including a pink guitar signed by Miley Cyrus.

It was such a wonderful time. And when the smoke had cleared, we had raised over $100,000! Needless to say, Mr. Pierson and all the execs from BBBS were overwhelmed. To top it off, WorldVentures co-founders Mike Azcue and Wayne Nugent added a vacation to one of the most exotic resorts in the world (worth over $10,000) to the spoils so BBBS can auction it off at their annual Black Tie and Boots Ball in November.

With all the monies collected at The View, Marc Accetta and WorldVentures have totaled well over $250,000 raised for BBBS over the two few years. WorldVentures is clearly living up to their slogan, “Making a Living…Giving”.
